Mr.Thyagu Valliappa, Vice Chairman, Sona Group, was elected as the Chairman of Tamilnadu Teqball Association at the 1st General Body Meeting of the Tamilnadu Teqball Association last Sunday in Salem. Salem Ophthalmologist Dr. Sasi Kumar was elected as the association President. The Vice-president and other office bearers were also selected.
The meeting was held on the side lines of the Teqball 1st National Challenger Series Phase -1 tournament which was held in Salem between March 26 to 29, 2021 in the presence of Mr. Vitthal Shirgaonkar, Vice-chairman, Teqball India.
On being elected as the Chairman, Mr. Thyagu Valliappa, discussed with the new office bearers the way forward to promote Teqball in the state offering valuable suggestions. He assured the members of his support to make Teqball a widely played game in the state.
The general body decided on the rules for affiliating district Teqball associations and passed resolutions.
