Mahashivaratri is celebrated marking the convergence of Shiva and Shakti. Mahashivaratri is one of the major festivals of Nepal and literally means “Night of the Shiva”. Sona has always been with Nepali citizens / students during celebrations. On the occasion of Mahashivrathri, Nepali students celebrated it in the campus by performing bhajans, Kirtans and chanting mantras in praise of Lord Shiva. The principal, general manager hostels, deputy warden and international affairs cell representatives supported the students in making the event a grand success.
