In AGM 2017 at NAGPUR recognizing her outstanding research contribution in concrete
Dr .R.Malathy Dept of Civil Engineering received “Best Paper Award “at National level, from Indian concrete Institute for her publication in the ICI Journal .The publication is abart the research on self curing concrete using bio materials as admixtures .The biomaterials like calatropis gigantean and spinacea oleratia as self curing agents in concrete.Curing of concrete plays a vital role in making concrete as strong and durable. But now a days curing is not performed for 28 days continuously because of water and labour scarcity.This research will be cost effective and efficient in attaining strength of concrete without curing. This paper was published during April 2017 in ICI Journal.
