A guest lecture has been conducted for the B.Tech IT Third year students on the topic “Routing Algorithms” on 28.09.2024 from 10.00am to 1.00 pm.
- Resource person has explained the following concept
- Introduction to the Routing Algorithms.
- Distance Vector Routing
- Link- State Routing.
- Path-Vector Routing
- Comparison among different types of routing algorithms.
- The resource person discussed about the applications and future trends related to the Routing Algorithms.
- The resource person answered the queries raised by the students during the session and suggested some of the online tools such as CISCO Packet Tracer tool to know about the sample networks.
- Finally, feedback of the session has been collected from the students through Outlook forms.
A total of 92 responses have been received. Based on the positive feedback collected from the students we recommend the same resource person for further guest lecturer or workshop for this course.
