The guest lecture was conducted for B.Tech-AIDS students on the topic of ‘Industrial Applications of Machine Learning’ on 16th November 2024, from 9:15 AM to 11:30 AM.
1. Resource Person has explained the following concepts:
• Feature Selection
• Data Preprocessing Data Reduction
• Data Analyst
2. The resource person addressed students’ queries and shared online resources to enhance their knowledge.
3. The resource person provided valuable insights into industry opportunities related to machine learning, highlighting various career paths, emerging trends, and the skills required to excel in this field.
4. The resource person highlighted the importance of hands-on experience and advised students to work on real-world machine learning projects to strengthen their skills.
5.Feedback on the session was collected from students via a Google Form.
6. A total of 49 responses were received: 62% rated the session as very good, 36% as good, and 2% as satisfactory.
7. After analysing the feedback, the high percentage of positive responses indicates the session’s success. Therefore, additional guest lectures with the same resource person are planned for the future.
8. Based on the feedback analysis, the resource person’s performance was rated as good, and no corrective actions are necessary.
