Department of Fashion Technology organised a local visit to Chennai silks, Salem for third year FT students on 17.09.2018. Around 70 students participated in the visit.
During the visit , the students gained knowledge about the Brands available in the shop, Cost range, Different styles, design pamphlets, Materials used (including lining etc), Ornamentation details, Fasteners used and it’s position, Seams used and Latest trend.
Faculty members Ms.S.Priyalatha, Ms.M.Maanvizhi, Mr.S.Paramasivam and Mr.J.Balaji accompanied with the students.
Manager Mr.Saravanan, Chennai silks guided the students and very happy about the students interest in the collection of brand details in various sections.
