102 ideas from Salem region picked for student innovator award ideation camp
As many as 102 ideas were picked from a total 324 ideas that were submitted from the Salem region for the ideation camp that was conducted by the Tamil Nadu government’s Entrepreneurship Development Innovation Institution (EDII-TN).

The ideas were sought as part of the EDII’s state-level TNSI-2020 award (Tamil Nadu Student Innovator 2020) programme which includes conducting Awareness programmes, Ideation (IDEA) Camp, Boot Camp and State Level Pitching to develop the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the state.
The EDII-TN, through Sona as its hub, plans to implement its IEDP programmes in 62 colleges all of which are attached to the hub as Spoke Institutions.
This time, an awareness programme was conducted online.
Subsequently, students from the Salem Hub came up with as many as 324 ideas all of which were submitted through the portal of the EDII. Of these, 102 ideas were selected for the ideation camp.
