Aparna Athreya is the Founder of Kid and Parent Foundation. She is a storyteller, educator, story coach and entrepreneur.

She is a computer science engineer who worked in the software industry for 15 years after which she moved to the field of training and development.

She has been telling stories at several public platforms including the Chennai Storytelling Festival, Bengaluru Storytelling Festival, Chandigarh Lit fest, Cracker-Jack Festival, Bookaroo Festival to name a few.

She has presented at conferences across the country about education and storytelling.

She was featured as a forerunner in woman entrepreneurship in The Hindu Metroplus on women’s day 2016. Her performance at Sona was interesting and motivating. She told stories that will improve the self-confidence of the students. She pointed out the importance of communication skills and proved that through interesting stories. Through story telling she enhanced the comprehension skills such as visualizing, inferencing, organizing information, summarizing, making connections, and predicting outcomes.
