SONA BREEZE’19, an Interschool Techno and cultural fest conducted by SONA COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY on 23rd Oct 2019.
SONA BREEZE provides a platform to students to test their skills by hosting a spectrum of competitions. Events includes Young Scientist, Spell bee, Oratorical competition, Poetry writing, Mime, Phototgraphy, Dance, Skit, Quiz and Drawing. The toppers were awarded with cash prize. The main motto of SONA BREEZE is to develop a sense of harmony among the school students.
The event was attended by 1000 students from 46 schools from Salem, Erode, Karur, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri and Coimbatore. The students who participated in the events felt that this gave them a new dimension in their cultural life. They said that this was a new experience that was different from their routine cultural competitions conducted in the schools. This program helped our student volunteers to develop was initiated under the guidance of faculty to imbibe managerial skills in organizing events.
SONA BREZEE was organized by our faculty members Prof.M.Senthil Vadivu, Assistant Professor/ECE and Prof.T.Dinesh, Assistant Professor/MECH headed by Dr.B.Sathiyabama, HOD/CSE – Dean Academics and Dr.M.Renuga, Head – English with the guidance and support from our beloved Principal Dr.S.R.R.Senthil Kumar.
