Yet another mile stone!
The department of Fashion Technology further augmented its industrial relationship through a Memorandum of Understanding with Saranya Spinning Mills (P) Ltd, Namakkal on 12.01.2015. The company is vertically integrated with spinning and weaving machinery. This Industry has also been certified for the successful implementation of ‘5S’. Mr.Ashok kumar , Technical Director of Saranya Spinning Mills and Sri.Valliappa, Chairman of Sona College of Technology signed and exchanged the MoU. While addressing the gathering, our Chairman emphasized the need of building industrial relationship and advised the students to utilize the opportunity for practical exposure. The Principal and the Academic Director have also felicitated with their motivational speech. Through this initiative, the students and faculty of Fashion department will closely work developmental projects of Saranya Spinning Mills.
