On the second day of our special camp (i.e., March 9, 2024), we arrived at the camp site at 9:30 a.m. By 10:00 AM, a blood group identification camp was conducted in Vattamuthampatty village with the help of the Maruthi Blood Bank and Research Foundation, Salem. Around 80 people and children benefited. Afternoon, at 2:00 PM, an awareness seminar on food and yoga was taken by Dr.C. Sakthi, M.D.(s), Government Primary Health Centre, Kolathur. The seminar highlighted the intrinsic link between yoga and nutrition, emphasizing how both are essential for physical and mental well-being. It was noted that yoga not only disciplines our postures and lifestyle but also complements the nutritional aspect of our lives. Participants were encouraged to explore these practices further to enhance their overall well-being. At 4:30 p.m., the event came to an end.
