The National Science Day was celebrated in collaboration with Department of Science at Sona Central Library. A large Collection of Books and Journals of Science were exhibited along with works by Sir.C.V.Raman. The Principal Dr.S.R.R.SENTHIL KUMAR presided over the Function and Spoke about the Importance of doing research in Science. Professor Dr.C.Shanthi Hod – Science talk about Raman and Raman effect andappreciated the work of Library for arranging the function to celebrate the National Science Day.Large Number of Students and faculty members participated. N.Sreedharan, Librarian proposed Vote of Thanks and said the similar functions like Word Poetry Day, Einstein Birth Day, World Book Day will be observed at the Sona Library.
