A Cultural Extravaganza at Sona College of Technology
The campus of Sona College of Technology transformed into a vibrant hub of creativity and cultural exchange on April 17, 2025, as we hosted KRIVVAS ’25, our prestigious inter-collegiate cultural festival. The event brought together talented students from colleges across the region, showcasing the rich diversity of skills and artistic expression that defines our youth today.
Competitions That Captivated
KRIVVAS ’25 featured an impressive array of competitions designed to challenge intellect and celebrate artistic prowess:
- Mind Quest: Our quiz competition tested participants’ knowledge across various domains, from current affairs to technical trivia
- Rhythm Rebels: Dance groups electrified the audience with choreographies spanning classical traditions to contemporary styles
- Tamil Storytelling (Kathai Kalaattam): Participants wove magical narratives in Tamil, preserving our linguistic heritage while engaging audiences
- Fashion Forward: Students showcased innovative designs and confident runway presentations in our fashion competition
- Musical Melodies: Solo and group performances brought traditional and modern musical expressions to life
Star Power
Adding to the excitement was the presence of celebrated actor Dharshan, whose participation elevated the festival’s profile and thrilled attendees. His interactions with students and appreciation of their talents created unforgettable moments throughout the day.

The day culminated in an awards ceremony where Principal Prof. Dr. S.R.R. Senthilkumar and actor Dharshan presented trophies and prizes to the winners, recognizing outstanding performances across all categories.
