A guest lecture was arranged for the third year Civil Engineering students on 29/11/2022 for the subject U15CE503 – Design of reinforced concrete elements on the topic “Introduction to Reinforced concrete design under gravity loads” therough online platform and delivered by Er.K.Manickavel, Engineering Manager, L&T Geostructure, Chennai. The Guest lecture covered on how analysis and design of buildings go hand in hand. He also explained using STAAD Pro software the design of buildings. It was helpful for the students to enhance their knowledge in this subject area and understand how industry works. Overall the feedback was good.
