Women are inherent multi-taskers: Speakers at Women’s Day function in Sona College of Technology
From mother or daughter role at home and teaching to leadership roles at work, women juggle up many tasks. Chairman C.Valliappa called upon men to share house hold works with women so as to attain harmony on home front. Madam Chairman Seetha Aachi reminded of the diversity of roles performed by modern women from housekeeping to piloting aircraft.
Guest Speaker Dr.M Sri Devi, Consultant Obstetrician, Devi Hospital and Thamarai Fertility Centre, Salem and Dr.Joan Cook, Associate Professor of Psychiatry, Yale University, USA spoke powerfully about work place challenges for women and how to manage them.
