The virtual inaugural function of MBA and MCA programmes for batch 2020- 2022 was
held on Dec 4, 2020.
The inaugural function was graced by Mr. M.A.Deviah – Consultant, World Bank Group, Bengaluru, as Chief Guest, Chairman, Mr.C. Valliappa, Vice-Chairmen, Mr. Chocko Valliappa and Mr. Thyagu Valliappa, Principal, Dr. S. R. R. Senthil Kumar, Dean/ Academics, Dr.J.Akilandeswari, Joint Director of Sona School of Management, Dr. M. Selvaraj, Dean/Admissions, MBA, Dr. P.K.Anjani, Professor and Head, MCA, Dr. T. Padma.
Dr. P. K. Anjani welcomed the gathering, Dr. S. R. R. Senthil Kumar and Dr J. Akilandeshwari felicitated the gathering and shared their views on using the new era technology and how stay focused in the career.
Addressing the gathering, Mr.Thyagu Valliappa shared his focus on idea creation,3T
and JEF (Jobs, Entrepreneurship, Family Business) and sowed great thoughts in the young minds. Mr. Chocko Valliappa addressed the gathering with motivational and knowledgeable
thoughts.
Mr.M.A.Deviah shared a presentation on Ten things he has learnt from his life. He elaborated on change management to achieve great heights in life. He also related with real time examples of how his son after facing many rejections finally succeeded in his workplace in Google. He also highlighted the importance of loving oneself and maintaining the work – life balance.
In the Presidential Address, Mr.C.Valliappa, shared his visionary thoughts with the
students to reach their goals and radiated a source of energy within all.
A perfect wind-up to this forenoon event, the Vote of Thanks, was rendered by
Dr.T.Padma. HOD, MCA.
