A Guest lecture on topic “Standing Wheel Chair” related to the field of Kinematics was conducted to the students by IIT Alumni chapter PALS nearly 100 students from Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical and Electronics Engineering attended this lecture. The development of Standing Wheel Chair and its commercialization are discussed. The wisdom of mechanism involved in the chair are elaborated.
