Department of Mechanical Engineering is organizing a guest lecture on the topic “Awareness Programme on higher studies and Research” on 21.08.19 , in Mechanical seminar hall. The lecture is delivered by Dr.A.Gurubalan, M.E, Ph.D (IIT – M).
Third-year and final year students are attended this guest lecture. Chief Guest has shared his experience with students regarding research and higher studies. Chief Guest has discussed the scope of higher studies in reputed institutes, job opportunities, and facilities in IIT’s and NIT’s. He explained the importance of the GATE exam and expectations of the company. He is currently doing post-doctorate in the university of Saskatchewan, Canada. He shared his experience in Canada and discussed with students regarding higher studies in abroad.
