On International Yoga Day, 21st June 2020 (3.00 – 5.00 PM), Department of MCA, Sona College of Technology has organized a webinar on the topic “Inhale YOGA – Exhale COVID”. The session was presented by 3 resource persons. Smt. S. Arulselvi, Head, VISION-Salem Zone, inaugurated the session. It was then followed by Smt.R.Akila Balaji, Yoga Professor. She has nicely demonstrated simplified physical exercises, yoga Asanas, Muthras, and Pranayaama. The demonstration is captured earlier as a video in our green campus with the technical support of Sonaversity and it was displayed during the session and was well explained by the speaker.

The final session was by Sri. B. R. Soundararajan, Yoga Professor on the topic ”Body, Life and Mind”. He spoke about the benefits of practicing Kayakalpam exercise, Pranayama, Kabalapathi and anger management. He explained about how to safeguard ourselves from the pandemic situation by practicing yoga, taking ayurvedhic medicines and food.
