The orientation program has been organized for all the second year students through IETE students’ forum. Dr.R.S.Sabeenian, HoD/ECE delivered inaugural address and he elaborated the importance of academic activities, general facilities available in the department. He also spoke about the resources, honors and awards the department is holding. Prof.R.Gayathri, Year Coordinator/II year ECE spoke about the general rules and regulations and need of behaving as professionals throughout their course and lifetime.
Dr.M.Usha, Senior Dean/ICE delivered a special address mentioning the various responsibilities and duties the students need to fulfill.
Prof..Shanthi, AP/ECE & Prof.S.Deepa, ASP/ ECE gave an introductory talk about NBA including course outcomes, program outcomes, program outcome attainment and need for accreditation. Prof.A.P.Jayakrishna, AP/ECE informed the students about the Internshala and other scholarship programs available in the department. Dr.G.Ravi, ASP/ECE and Prof.S.Vijayasharahi delivered their talk on Lecture capture system and Black Board learning system respectively. Prof.S.Ramkumar, AP/ECE presented a motivational talk to the students.
