The department of civil engineering had arranged two day software training programme on ANSYS software (structural) in the CAD lab on 6.2.2017 and 7.2.2017. The software trainee from ARK solution Mr.Prabhakaran had given the ANSYS training for both faculty and PG students. In the training basic utilisation of tools were explained on the structural point of view and details about the formation of different layouts based on linear and non linear analysis are also discussed. Structural model on different elements such as beams, column and solid element were worked and procedure of analysis the model is also explained. The training includes half day technical training on ANSYS and followed by software training to the faculty and students.
