Industrial Visit – Cochin
The Department of Civil Engineering, Sona College of Technology organized two days industrial visit to Cochin on 26 and 27 of July 2017 for B.E Civil engineering final year students (Section A- 33, Section B – 29 and Section C – 30, Total of 92 students). Visit was organized with the prior permission and guidance of honorable Principal of Sona College of Technology, Dr.M.Usha and our beloved Head of the Department Dr.R.Malathy. The students were accompanied by four faculty members Prof.S.Karthika, Prof.S.Prabakaran, Prof.M.Soundararajan, Prof.S.Kalaiselvi.
First day (26.07.2017), students visited ISRO – VSSC Museum Trivandrum.Second day (27.07.2017) morning visited Techshore Inspection Services Pvt Ltd, Cochin. The students were divided into batches and then taken into the site with proper safety measures by wearing safety shoes and helmets. The officials guided the students at construction site.
