A guest lecture was organized in Civil Department, under the guidance of Dr. R.Malathy, HOD/ Civil by Prof. S. Priscil Nidhu for the final year students on the topic “Entrepreneurship Development and Career Planning” by Er. V. Balaji Subramanian, Managing Director, Sri Vijayabarathi Constructions, Dharmapuri on 20.09.2017. Almost 30 students attended the lecture who were interested in becoming an entrepreneur. He started the lecture by playing a video which motivated the students. The resource person briefed the various stages involved to become a successful entrepreneur and the skills and qualities needed. He also discussed the various hurdles that they have to come across. He then motivated the students by showing his completed projects which had many challenges. The session was interactive and interesting by students asking various questions to enhance their personality.
