Report for Civil Engineering Association CORE-2017:
CORE 2017, an Intra department technical symposium, was organized by Association of Civil Engineering of Sona College of Technology on 19th September, 2017 at SONA PG Auditorium in the presence of students and faculty members of civil Engineering department. We invited the Mr.S.Venkataramani, Director, Quansys-project Management consultancy, Bangalore. He gave a special address and keynote address on the topic of “Think Beyond” – An intro to Project Management and Challenges. The welcome address by Dr.R.Malathy, HoD of civil Engineering department, SCT. Dr.V.Jayaparakash, Director-Industry-connect felicitated the gatherings. The program was organized by Mr.K.PRAKASH, Asst prof, coordinator of association of civil engineering. The paper presentation, poster presentation and multimedia were conducted by organizers of CORE. The certificates and medals were distributed to the students who won and participated in the events by our chief guest. The talk about CORE and vote of thanks was given by Mr. M.Hari Prasad, Student chairman –ACE.
