Department of ECE organised an Alumni Talk on “Career Scope for Electronics Engineers” for the I Year ECE and ELCE students on 30.08.2024. The resource person Ms. Priyanka Senkamal who is the Technology Analyst at Infosys, Bangalore emphasized how Electronics engineering offers a diverse and dynamic career scope, encompassing various sectors such as telecommunications, consumer electronics, defense, aerospace, and automotive industries. She also explained about the demand of Electronics engineers for roles in designing, developing, and testing electronic devices, systems, and circuits. She motivated to learn the technologies like the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, and 5G and how the field continues to expand into emerging areas such as embedded systems, robotics, and renewable energy. The resource person concluded that electronics engineers can pursue specialized careers in research, product development, or technical management, making it a versatile and rewarding profession with ample growth opportunities globally.
