Sona College of Technology has bagged the prestigious ‘PLATINUM’ category certification (under Chemical and allied category) in the AICTE-CII Best Industry Linked Technical Institutes-2016 survey on 8th November 2016 in a grand function held at Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi. This award was issued by Dr.Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE and Dr.Y.S.Rajan, Dr.Vikram Sarabhai distinguished Professor, ISRO and Prof. Pradyumna Vyas, Director, National Institute of Design in recognition of efforts taken by the Fashion Technology department for building effective relationship with Textile and Apparel Industries
