About Sona
Sona College of Technology has achieved global identity through its involvement in research in recent technology and successful completion of projects and products. The college is known for its rich tradition and high values bestowed upon by its Founder Chairman, Sri. M.S. Chockalingam. The college is awarded with "AICTE-CII Award for Best Industry-Linked Technical Institute in India consecutively for 7 years from 2014 to 2019 and acclaimed 'A++' grade by 'NAAC' that stand testimony to the commitment of the college to impart quality education. Sona is a proud recipient of "Entrepreneur Award" from MHRD, New Delhi, for Emerging Global Destination for education. Sona has been accorded recognition as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), New Delhi. About the Department
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in 1997 to produce young and quality electrical engineers who are industry-ready and skill-oriented to fulfil the desired requirements of industries. The department was awarded full accreditation for a period of six years (up to 30.06.2028) under Tier-I (2nd cycle) Category by NBA New Delhi consecutively for the second time. The department has also bagged AICTE – CII award for the best industry linked institution. It offers two U.G. programmes (B.E. – Electrical and Electronics Engineering and B.E. – Electrical and Computer Engineering), a PG programme (M.E. - Power Systems Engineering) and Doctoral Programme (Ph.D.). The Department has three R&D centres - SonaSPEED, SonaPERT and SonaPEDAC specialized in Electrical Machine Design, High Voltage and Power Electronics Drives and Controllers. The department offers consultancy services for Energy Audits and houses two Centers of Excellence in association with industries in Embedded Systems & IoT (CapGemini) and Industrial Automation (Axis Global Automation).
About the Conference
ICAPC2T-2025 aims at giving a chance to the students/academicians/researchers/scientists and practicing engineers to have a platform for potential knowledge exchange on recent trends in power electronics, power systems, control systems, sensors, and computational technologies. Particularly, emphasis will be placed on the promotion of new and renewable sources of power, smart grid and related cyber-physical systems, optoelectronics, and photonic sensors. Applications of data analytics to power systems, such as demand response and demand side management will be considered. Finally, the innovative use of artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, and data visualization approaches for power management in various contexts, including efficient network management, improved situational awareness and anomaly detection will be of interest. ICAPC2T-2025 features invited talks and keynote addresses from eminent professors/scientists across the world and technical paper presentations of participants from different parts of the world.
