Sports and Games Achievements 2010-11
Our students have achieved a lot during this academic year in Sports and Games. They have won in various competitions of Anna University of Technology Coimbatore, Zonal, Inter Zonal, National and All India Inter University level and have brought many laurels to the college.
Many students were selected to represent Anna University of Technology Coimbatore in various Sports and Games like Athletics, Badminton, Ball Badminton, Boxing, Chess, Fencing, Football, Hand Ball, Volleyball, Weight Lifting, and they represented Sona in the All India Inter-University Level Tournaments, especially one of our students M.Udhaya IV FT in Fencing for the second time we have got Medals in All India Inter university Tournament. The students are getting special scholarships from our management.
Recent days our students to participate in the State Level Inter Engineering College Football Tournament held at MAM Engineering College Trichy and Won the Third Position.
And also our students to participate in the State Level Inter Engineering College Handball Tournament held at PSG College of Technology Coimbatore and Won the Third Position.

Organizing Sports and Games
- We are conducting district level “Ezhavattam” Aids awareness Athletics Meet for all schools and college students for Men and Women on 15th July 2010.
- We are conducting Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore Zone III Table Tennis Tournament for Men and Women on 09th & 10th Aug 2010.
- We are conducting Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore Zone III Volley Ball Tournament for Women on 06th & 07th Sep 2010.
- We are Organizing Vinayaga Mission College Sports and Games on 10th to 31st Oct 2010.
