Digital optic warp, weft stop motion and counter-Textile Automation product

Weaving industry has been one of the India’s thriving sectors of mass employment. Weaving products contribute 4% of GDP. In India there are 50 lakh looms in which 1.25 crore people are employed. Among those nearly 44 lakh people are doing weaving as hut industries. Outdated technology and lack of innovations made the hut weaving industries in struggle in many ways. Implementing the imported technology in a small weaving unit is a cumbersome task since it involves many lagging factors like skilled persons, implementing cost, etc. Hence in order to help the small weaving units to enhance their technology with new ideas, an automated device called “Digital Weft Count- tripper” has been designed. Generally the fault factors like breaking of continuous threading and over threading can be handled with this device easily. When the   above said fault factors are happening, the machine will trip off from the work and also it will give alert to the workers if the amount of the thread in the roller comes to near end. Also it gives accurate counting of beatings and estimated length of the projected cloths in order to reduce the wastage of the loom. These kind of fault  factors are handled  easily in large weaving industries with high cost techniques, which cannot be afforded in terms of cost by small weavers to install their weaving units with these kind of high cost techniques. Hence to introduce such kind of techniques in an affordable price to even small weavers, this device has been developed.
