Sona College Of Technology Department of IT feeling immense proud in conducting National Level Technical Symposium,PORT'19 on 12th and 13th of February 2019. Symposium filled with Technical workshop on the Topic Python and IOS SWIFT on 12.02.2019 followed by enthusiastic Technical and Fun events on 13.02.2019. The Workshops and events handled by experienced Staff members with Energetic volunteers. The Technical events and Fun events are equally maintained So, that the Knowledge Power and Happiness stays in Same Level.

The competition measures your sense of perception of the society and how complex ideas can irradiate from even the seemingly simple objects in our day to day life. With a weekly theme to adhere to and precise rules to follow, be assured you will have a splendor of images to gaze your eyes upon.

"I don't remember my college result, but I can remember my college fun" quoted by APJ Abdul Kalam. He says that fun events will be the best events he remembers because he always came mostly first.



Merger
A word is split into various images and the participants have to find the answer by stringing the images together. each picture means a separate word. The teams have to guess having in mind that only the pictures together will make sense.



IGNITE
IGNITE is a technical event in which the participants should prepare their project at home and they have to bring the project to demonstrate before the judges. There is only one round and the best is chosen by the judges and the respective prizes are given away.

Project Expo is a technical event in which the participants should prepare their project at home and they have to bring the project to demonstrate before the judges. There is only one round and the best is chosen by the judges and the respective prizes are given away. It does not take much strength to do things, but it requires a great deal of strength to decide what to do. Implement innovative ideas to showcase your mind.

Merger

In this round, a word is split into various images and the participants have to find the answer by stringing the images together. each picture means a separate word. More than one word is picture is given and the teams have to guess having in mind that only the pictures together will make sense. In this round also, the participants have to guess maximum Number of words in particular time .

1. Maximum number of participants in a Team is 2.
2. The topics that the papers need to be based on are suggestive. It is advisable that the presentation focuses on one particular topic.
The participants who are desirous of choosing a different theme than those mentioned above are welcome, provided, it falls under the ambit of the domain. Report should be well comprehended,albeit advanced which could appeal to an undergraduate. Kindly contact the coordinator for clarifications.
3. Abstract should not exceed 1 page and Paper should not exceed 15 pages.
4. Bring your college ID-Card on event day.
5. Please bring your PowerPoint presentation on a CD and on a pen-drive.
6. Soft-copies of the submitted paper and PowerPoint presentations must be in the .docx format.
7. Please Mail your abstract and paper to port2k19@gmail.com.
8. Please bring 2 hardcopies of the submitted paper on the day of the event.
9. The teams will get 10 minutes for presentation followed by question and answer session.
10. Persons from different institutions can be a part of the same team. However, one person may not be a art of multiple teams for the same event.
11. The mail with submissions should contain.
Title- theme of the paper.
Name of both the candidates.
Phone no of both the candidates.
E- mail ID.
12. Paper should be in a one column format & should not exceed 15 pages.
13. Last day to submit soft copy of your report (via e-mail) will be two days prior to the day of presentation.
14. After you have submitted the soft copy, a panel of judges will go through your material and if you are shortlisted to give the presentation, you will be notified through the mail.
15. The abstract mail should contain abstract, references, your e-mail id and mobile number.
16. The decision of judges will be final and no arguments or appeal will be entertained.

Prelims will be conducted.*

It consists of 4-5 clues, each one leading to the next clue. Each correctly solved clue carries 10 points. And final Treasure carries 50 points.

The clues are to be found in a particular order. A team cannot skip a clue. Skipping a clue leads to disqualification of the team.

If you found other teams clue by any chance never tamper it. A violation of this rule could cause disqualification of your team.

NOTE: College map will be provided.
