- The Inaugural function of our camp started at 10am in Vinayakampatti School.
- The function was presided by Mr.Syed Musthafa DRDA , Dr.P.Govindarajan our college Principal, followed by Dr.V.S.Venkatavarathan former professor of our college and Prof. N.Kannan Department of EEE.
- Inaugural address was given by Mr.M.Ramachandran president of chettichavadi, Mr.K.M.Raja, president of Kondappanayakkanpatti and Mr.M.Arul, sixth ward member of pasukal .
- In the afternoon, survey forms were filled and village peoples were informed about the camp schedule. We also planted around 150 tree saplings.
29-01-2010
- Free eye camp was conducted by Lotus Eye Care Hospital, Salem in Vinayakampatti school .The Camp started at 10.00am, about 150 peoples were benefited by this camp.
Free dental camp was conducted by Vinayaga Missions Dental Hospital, Salem in Chettichavadi school.The Camp started at 9.30am, about 190 people were benefited by this camp.
- In afternoon we had an interaction session with our programme officers.
30-01-2010
- A general medical camp was conducted by S.K.S Hospital, Salem in Vinayakampatti school.The Camp started by 10.00 am. B.P and blood sugar level were diagnosed for the village people.The camp extended upto 1.30 pm and about 240 people were benefited by it.
- In the afternoon, we had a seminar on “Magical Expression” by Mr .R.S.Prabhu B.B.M of Aadhavan dye industry.
31-01-2010
- Free general medical camp was conducted by Shri Gokulam Hospital, Salem in Chettichavadi school. The camp started at 9.30 am.
- Height, weight, B.P, sugar and ECG checkup were done. Free medicines were also provided for the patients. About 935 villagers were benefited.
- In the afternoon we had a interaction session with our programme officers.
01-02-2010
- Free general medical camp was conducted by Kamala Hospital, Salem in Periyar Nagar.Nearly 150 people benefited from it.
- Blood grouping was done by Sivaramji Blood Bank, Salem in Chettichavadi School. Nearly, 150 members enrolled their names for blood test.
- Various games were conducted for students from 1st to 8th in vinayakampatti school.
- In the afternoon, we had an inspiring seminar on the topic “Live And Let Live” by Mr.B.Sarvanen, HOD, Information Technology, Sona College Of Technology.

- Free eye camp was conducted by Agarwal Eye Hospital, Salem in Chettichavadi School. More than 130 people turned up for camp.
- Blood grouping camp was conducted in Vinayakampatti School by Maruthy Blood Bank, Salem. About 200 people visited the camp site to know their blood group.
- We taught the basics about computers to the students from classes three to eight in chettichavadi school.
- Afternoon session ended with seminar on the topic”FUTURE CHALLENGES FOR BUDDING ENGINEERS” by Prof Manikandan,Co-ordinator of Tamil Mandram,Sona College of Technology.

- A Veterinary camp was held in Vinayakampatti by Tamilnadu government veterinary Hospital, Salem. About 270 cattle were treated and provided with medicine.
- M.G Hospital, Salem conducted a Diabetics camp in Pasukkal . Nearly 150 people turned up for the diabetics test.
- We taught the basics about computers to the students from classes three to eight in Vinayakampatti school.
- In the afternoon , valedictory function of the camp was held in Vinayakampatti . Dr.P.Govindarajan,our principal , Dr. Usha, H.O.D / Computer Science Engineering and Prof. Prasad babu, H.O.D / Civil Engineering presided over the function.
Special Features:
- Our Volunteers provided various requirements like Footwear, Stationery, basic needs and etc., for the school children in Vinayakampatti, Chettichavadi and Periyarnagar village, we also provided exam pads and School bags to the School children.
