The conference covers a wide range of topics and provides a general platform for exchanging and sharing knowledge and innovative ideas and discussing recent research and developments in the fields of power systems, power electronics and drives, control engineering and their soft-computing applications.

The mission of the conference is to high-light the innovative research and developments of academicians and industrial experts in the above mentioned areas and to provide a forum to disseminate the results of their work.  In discussing their results, an opportunity is provided for the delegates to exchange the new ideas and applications face to face.  It also provides a platform for entrepreneurs to think of new ventures or generate research contacts and find global partners for future collaborative researches. 

Currently, soft-computing techniques have become very important in solving complex problems.  Fuzzy logic control, neural network control, optimization algorithms such as Genetic algorithm, Ant Colony method, Particle Swarm Intelligence etc. have given a tremendous success on solving complex problems.
