The Industry Day 2015 was conducted on 11.04.2015 at Sona Auditorium in the college campus. Dr. Tamilmani, Distinguished Scientist and Director General, DRDO Mr. D. Rajendran, Director of Engineering, Zoho Corporation and Mr. B.E.Rajendiran, Associate Vice President (HR), JSW Steel Ltd, Salem were the guests of honour.

Sri. C. Valliappa, Chairman, Sona Group of Institutions, Sri. Chocko Valliappa, Vice-Chairman, Sona Group of Institutions, Sri.Thyagu Valliappa, Vice-Chairman, Sona Group of Institutions, Dr.C.V.Koushik, Director – Academics, Dr.V.Jayaprakash, Principal, Sona College of Technology were present. Final year students who have got placed in companies received the offer letters on the special day. Totally Sona has got 947 offers. The students also had photo sessions with the Guests of Honour, Management Members, Career coordinators and Heads of the Department.

On the whole the day was momentous. It strengthened the bond between Sona Group of Institutions and the industry world.
