About the Department

The Department of Science has an exclusive building in the campus with a built up area of 55,000 sq. feet. It consists of a highly active educational and research team, that together with other departments at Sona, add wings in fulfilling the vision and mission by imparting the strong fundamentals of Science among the budding Engineering students community. It brings the various branches of Engineering on a common platform to instill the challenging modern scientific ideas in the minds of young aspirers. It is also committed to succor the Sona students in understanding the crux of Science concepts in the area of Engineering and Technology.

The Department of Science encompasses Physics, Chemistry and Basic Computer Science with highly qualified faculties and lays a strong foundation for the spanking newers pursuing engineering degree at Sona.
