Sona College of Technology signed a MoU with SALIEABS Electronics Engineers LLP, Salem for various joint research collaborations and teaching efforts. SALIEABS Electronics Engineers LLP is an Initiative under the ‘Startup India’ by two dynamic Sona alumnus of Electronics and Communication Engg. Harsha Prasanna and Raj Vignesh.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal, Dr S.R.R.Senthil Kumar appreciated the contribution of SALIEABS Electronics Engineers LLP towards the FIFA World Cup 2016.
Dr Sabeenian, HoD, ECE pointed out the collaborations made by the alumni entrepreneurs with watch companies towards ‘Smart Watch’ development. He also emphasized on utilizing the student Human Resource available at Sona towards various projects thereby giving them a exposure to industry.
The signed MoU focuses on collaborative research, collective teaching, product development and industry expertise to students.
