A Two-day Model Boot camp was organized by Sona School of Management at MBA Conference Hall on 26th and 27th October 2015. Around 60 Students from MBA, M.Tech (IT) and M.E (CSE) actively participated in the program. Dr. Vijayaragavan Viswanathan, Scientist /CERN, Switzerland and CEO of Tiino Techmations Ltd, who is the mentor for the AVAND GARDE CLUB @Sona , was the resource person. Our Vice Chairman Shri Thyagu Valliappa addressed the gathering in the Inaugural session. Principal Dr.V.Jayaprakash, Vice-Principal Dr.M.Usha and Dr.M.Selvaraj, Joint Director-MBA were present. Dr.S.P.Thenmozhi, Associate Professor , MBA Dept, organized the program.
The students were involved in a series of activities working in multidisciplinary teams with members in MBA, M.Tech and M.E programs in each team. The students came out with innovative ideas, presented the market pain and value proposition of their innovative product. They learnt how to make a business plan for their product. It was an eye-opening session for the Students of ME, M.Tech , as they were involved in developing a business plan and made to think from business perspective. This program inspired the students to take up projects related to innovation in future. The program also promoted the spirit of entrepreneurship in them.
