Department of Civil Engineering was organized a guest lecture on “Structural Analysis” for III year Civil Engineering students on 09.10.2019 between 10.00 am to 01:00 pm. The lecture was delivered by Er. S. Balaji Nagarajan, Proprietor & Structural Engineer, Optimal Consultants, Salem. He discussed and delivered a lecture on Basics in Structural analysis, influence line diagram and its applications in real-time projects. Also, he discusses about the applications of moving loads in bridge design. Totally 130 students have attended a lecture and interacted with a guest speaker. The students were given a very good feedback. This guest lecture was coordinated by Mr.B.Prabu, AP/Civil and Mr.D.Nandakumar, AP/Civil on behalf of the Department of Civil Engineering, Sona College of Technology, Salem.
