Industry 4.0 has now become a buzz word. We all must understand that the meaning is deep &realizing industry 4.0 does not come easy. The MSME’s must create all the facilities they need to make their supply chain successful. This will certainly mean having proper infrastructure like roads, steady power and water supply, proactive labour laws etc. Therefore support from the government is absolutely necessary. Salem being logistically located, connecting the four southern states and the business centers will ‘make in salem’ be realized with ease.
We want industries to connect with the several engineering institutions in Salem, and guide them and lay out a road map to enable improve the employability of the graduates by providing the necessary skills. There is tremendous amount of graduate manpower going waste for wanting of the right kind of skills.
There is a dire need for new technology in the core sectors and also in IT and Computer Science industries. The support from CII is necessary and with their pool of knowledge and management support will make in Salem be realized quickly.
