SONA organized the 2^nd edition of Salem SONA Sports League (3SL), a mega state level sports fest from 7^th to 11^th January 2019. Our principal Dr.S.R.R. Senthil Kumar inaugurated the cricket tournament by tossing the coin.

In addition to usual games like cricket, Basketball, Badminton and Tennis this year we included 5 a side Football tournament in which we got a massive response all over Tamilnadu. A total of 750 students from all over the state participated in the tournament.

On 8^th Jan 2019, our vice chairman Mr. Thyagu Valliappa, Principal Dr.S.R.R. Senthil Kumar along with Ms Stina Nordlander (Miss Sweden) were present and started the second day schedule of the 3SL tournament.

On 11^th Jan 2019, valedictory function was started around 5.30 pm. Ms. Akshaya (Sun Singer) was the special guest. She entertained the gathering by her mesmerizing voice. Our vice chairman Mr. Thyagu Valliappa, Principals of SONA group of institutions were addressed the gathering and distributed the prizes. Our vice chairmen in his speech insisted to modify SSSL (3SL) as SSSL (4SL) SALEM SONA SPORTS & SONG LEAGUE from the next edition as the cultural competitions were added this year.

Finally the program ended at 7.30 pm.
