A one day need based training for the non teaching faculty was organized by Prof.Jennifer Monica, department of Civil engineering on 31.1.2017 at department library. As per their requirement training was given in MS OFFICE (MS word and MS excel). Resource persons were from Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Sona college of technology, Salem. Dr.R.S.Sivagami, Associate Professor and Mr.B.Govindarajan, System Engineer gave training in word basics, work with text, formatting documents and work with text objects. Prof.B.Galeebathullah, Assistant Professor and Mrs.I.Hajeera Banu, Tr.Sec.Asst. trained the participants in excel basics, formatting workbook, adding charts and graphics and analyzing data. At the end of the session, resource persons clarified the participants’ doubts and participants gave their feedback about the session. We thank our Head of the Department, Dr.R.Malathy who grant us permission to conduct this workshop and we also extend our sincere gratitude to Dr.B.Sathiyabama, Head of the Department, Computer Science and Engineering, Sona College of technology, for accepting our request to conduct this workshop.
