Department of Information Technology in association with Institution of Engineers(India) , Salem Local Centre organised a National Conference “Industry 4.0” on 21st & 22nd Sep 2017 in Main building Seminar Hall (First Floor) at Sona College of Technology. The sessions were inaugurated in the august presence of Dr.V.Karthikeyan, Committee Member, IEI, Tamilnadu State Centre & Principal, Thiayagarajar Polytechnic College, Er.K.Pandian, Chairman, IEI, Salem Local Centre, Dr.V.Jayaprakash, Director, Industry Connect, Sona College of Technology and Er.S.R.Saravanan, Hon.Secretary, IEI, SLC. Sessions were handled on Cloud Computing by Hadoop technologies, Future Industry 4.0 and Big data and Industry 4.0. It was concluded with a valedictory function on 22nd sep 2017 @ 4:30pm.
