Sona College of Technology organised Freshers Day 2018 on Thursday August 16th magnificently. The function commenced at 10.00am. Principal Dr. S.R.R. Senthil Kumar, delivered the welcome address. Chief Guest, Dr. Jayanthasri Balakrishnan, M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D (English), M.Ed., M.A., Ph.D, (Tamil), Former Professor, Department of English, PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore and Public Speaker, delivered the Inaugural Address. The Special Address was given by Vice-Chairman, Mr. Thyagu Valliappa. Sona’s elite alumnus, Mr. Prasad Muthukumar, addressed the gathering. Felicitation Address was given by Dr. M. Usha, Sr. Dean, I & CE. Presidential Address was given by Chairman Mr. C. Valliappa. Freshers Day programme came to an end by 1.30pm.
