Department of Civil Engineeringwas organizedTwo days hands on training on “Drone Surveying” for Faculties and Students of Civil Engineering students on 26.09.2019& 27.09.2019. The lecture and trainingwas delivered byMr.Arun Jeya Prakash, Co-Founder & CEO, Aviocian Technologies Pvt. Ltd, New Delhi. He presented and demonstrated about basics in drone and applications of drones in surveying. The hands on training also provided to the participants to operate the drone. Also he discussed about the various sensors using in drones. Totally 15 faculties and 15 students wereattended the training and got trained. The participants were given a very good feedback. This guest lecture was coordinated by Mr.B.Prabu, AP/Civil, on behalf of Department of Civil Engineering, Sona College of Technology,Salem.
