Sunday, the 1st May 2016 was a day of Double Golden Celebrations for the management, faculty, students and Alumni of Sona College of Technology, as the Ministry of Human Resource and Development awarded the college the 47TH position in the first-ever National Institutional Ranking Frame work(NIRF) among 1437 Engineering Institutions across the nation. This ranking bears a testimony to the dedication of the Sona Management in fulfilling the aspirations of thousands of students. This was a day Double Golden Celebrations as Shri. C. Valliappa, the Chairman of Sona college of Technology and Thiyagarajar Polytechnic celebrated his fifty years in Business life. The occasion was graced by the presence of the two Vice Chairmen Shri. Chocko Valliappa and Shri. Thyagu Valliappa.
