The Annual Day was held on March 15th 2016. The programme commenced at 4.30pm. The principal Dr.V.Jayaprakash delivered the welcome address and presented the Annual report. He also recorded the achievements of the college. Our college received the AICTE-CII award of Best Industry–linked Technical Institution in India in the area of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. I year MBA students achieved 5th place among 160 institutions in business plan competitions. These are some of achievements which added feathered to Sona’s Crown.
The extension service report was present by the Vice Principal Dr. M.Usha. The report gave elaborate details of Research Centres, ongoing research projects, Continuing Education courses etc., conducted by various departments. Students’ representative Shala Praveez gave a presentation about the various club and students association activities. Our alumnus Mr.M.Senthilnatha Aravindhan and Mr.S.Gopalakrishnan were the guests of honour. Mr. Romil Turakhia, Chief of Global and Marketing Automated Workflow Pvt Ltd, Bengaluru was the chief guest and in his special address he motivated students to have a successful and contented life. Students were revered and honoured for their achievements through various awards and rewards. Dr. B. Sathiyabhama, HOD, CSE department rendered the vote of thanks. The programme came to an end by 9.00 pm.
