The Sona Alumni Association (SAA) founded in 2001 is continuously fostering to build a strong industry institutional tie up between the students and the management. The association endeavors to maintain the relationship with the alumni and to involve them in the development and growth of the institution. The salient features of the Alumni meet 2017 may be summarized as below:
- The “Alumni meet” for this year was conducted on 12th August 2017 in a grand manner. This meet is recorded to be the most opulent 4th overall alumni meet in the institution.
- As a part of this extravagant meet, there were around 200 alumni across the departments who actively took part in this occasion.
- This meet promoted and encouraged the alumni to exchange the professional knowledge among the students in the form of a class wise interaction.
- The alumni professionals were called for a productive interaction with the management, respective department HOD’S and faculties for the further industry institutional development.
- Fun – filled and cultural activities made them commemorate their own college days.
- `Adding a cherry to the top of this auspicious occasion, delightful dinner complimented with music from Sonaria band made the task accomplished.
