Tamil literary club is involved in encouraging the skills and confidence of upcoming fresher’s (first year students). This year, our club successfully conducted various events especially for the first year in the name of “KALAI UDHAYAM 17”. The events include poetry, speech, drawing, treasure hunt and Tamil quiz. We conducted prize distribution function at Edison conference hall. The prize winners received medals and certificates in the presence of respected chief guests.
We conducted events such as speech, poetry, connections, jumbled words, drawing and quiz for all students in the college in the name of “KALAI VIZHA 2018”. Sona Tamil Elakiya Mandram 10th year (Niraivu vizha) was held on 07th March 2018 with grand celebration in the august presence of our beloved Chairman. The chief guests of the function were Professor M. Ramachandran, (Pattimandra pechalar). They appreciated the students by giving the prizes. Also certain events like “Flute, Tamil Classical Music, Dance and Silambattam” took placed.
