The Sona college of Technology, Salem signed MoU with EmbDes Technologies Pvt, Ltd, Bangalore on 12th Sep 2015. This MOU is signed for collaborative initiatives in the area of R&D activities, Internship Training, Consultancy services and Placement on the basis of equality and mutual benefits.
During the MoU signing ceremony, Dr.S.Chandrasekar, Dean R&D, Department of EEE welcomed the gathering and in his welcome speech he said the pivotal aim of this initiative is to motivate the students and faculty members to involve in the research and consultancy activities. Principal Dr.V.Jayaprakash told the importance of entrepreneurship culture among students and he advised the students to concentrate more in the research projects.
Speaking at the MoU signing ceremony, EmbDes Technologies Directors Mr.P.Sathishkumar and Mr. G.Vijay Anand explained about the company and benefits of this MoU. They also explained the various skills to be developed by electrical and electronics engineering students in order to meet the industrial expectations. They also said that collaborating with Sona College would help them to develop new innovative products. They also congratulated Dr.S.Chandrasekar for his effort in bringing this MoU in reality. Finally Dr.S.Padma HOD/EEE thanked all the dignitaries and students.
